Village Hall

The Hall has been managed for many years by a Committee of Trustees, and in the past has been an integral part of the Village, hosting the Youth Club, parties and many other events.

Over the years, the Village has changed, with the local school closing, and many properties being purchased as second homes. However the Village Hall has continued to be used regularly by local groups including the Table Tennis Club, Carpet Bowls Club, Art Club, and the Village Club. In recent years it has proved to be a popular venue for Art Exhibitions, many held by the talented artists who actually live in the Village. And last year it was used for the Lunches and Teas at the annual Ringstead Open Gardens Event.

Unfortunately due to the Corona Virus Lockdown the Hall has had to be closed, so no events are currently taking place. However the Committee are still hoping to pursue their aim of installing a new and improved heating system, and insulate and reclad the roof. Obviously both these projects are expensive, but we are hoping to raise sufficient funds by applying for grants and fundraising.
